About

Hannah’s practice as a director, producer, and educator fuses the traditional with the avant-garde. Her process is inspired by forum theater, Original Practices, and contemporary dance techniques to produce classic plays and community-based performances. Her work celebrates performance as a revolutionary act.

Hannah has worked with Annoyance Theatre, Rhino Fest, Redtwist Theatre, Mudlark Theater, Oil Lamp Theatre, The Artistic Home, and Citadel Theatre. She is the co-creator and director of Bussy Talks: A Gender Performance, for which she received the Sarah Siddons grant. Hannah is a graduate of the University of Manchester, UK with a BA Honors in Drama, where she conducted original research on theatre education’s role in the social and emotional development of high-school-aged young adults.
